Lunch Time with the BFF!

Erin and Spencer were in town, so we had a quick lunch at Cafe Rio! Good times, as always, but we decided that we like Bajio better!

Oh...and don't worry...it was totally snowing today in Orem and Provo!! The mountations are white! Isn't this a *little* early for snow?? Your thoughts please...

Craft Time!!

Mom...no peeking! (Only peek if you want a little sneak peek of your birthday present!) I should post this after you get this in the mail, but I was soo excited with how this turned out, that I just wanted to put it up! I almost kept this for myself! I saw this little idea somewhere and wanted to try it out myself and think it turned out pretty cute! So simple, so cute!

Happy Birthday, A Mi Madre!

Just wanted to post a quick little "HAPPY BIRTHDAY!" to my cute mother! I wish I were home to give you a big birthday hug, but since that isn't possible, mom, consider yourself hugged! I assure you a special little package is on the way!

Side note about my sweet madre...I got a note in the mail from her yesterday (snail mail is my FAVORITE, and she knows it!) and she included a picture from when mom and dad dropped me off at BYU-Idaho for the first time...it's a picture of mom and me in front of one of the BYU-Idaho signs...I was soo scared out of my mind! I knew only one other person in Rexburg and didn't have a clue what I was doing, but some how I finished and enjoyed my time at school! Thanks mom for that little note...it was just what I needed yesterday!

Happy Birthday, mom! Love you!

Sunday Dinner with the Newlyweds!

Yesterday we had Katie and Joe over for Sunday dinner! Katie was highly entertaining the whole evening...I think she's secretly blonde sometimes, but that's why we love her! She was in charge of dessert, and attempted to make a double-layered chocolage fudge cake...it sure wasn't pretty, but it tasted amazing!

Little Beaner!

When I was in New York earlier this year, I bought this cute little bean plant from ABC (an AMAZING store!) that I fully intended on giving to a friend, but kind of accidentally ended up keeping it for myself...oops! Once the bean emerged from the dirt, a special message appeared on the actual bean plant! It's kind of hard to tell on this picture, but it actually says, "GOOD LUCK" on it! How cute is that?! It'll eventually grow this cute little curly vine...Jac and I need to come up with a name for it!

Pinewood Derby Beginnings!

Jac (my roommate!) and I FINALLY made it to our official ward yesterday for church and found out that for the next ward activity we're having a pinewood derby! I called my brother, Marshall today for some "insider tips" on how to build a winning car. He gave me a few good ones and suggested that I use some scrapbook stickers from work to decorate it! I thought that was cute of him to say that! Let me know if you have any tips...we're going to need all the help we can get! Ha ha!

Yay for graduating!!

I HAD to post this picture because I think it's a cute one! Mom finished her bachelor's degree this summer (CONGRATS!) but wasn't able to make it out to BYU to walk with her graduating class, so we had a little ceremony for her (a.k.a. a photo shoot) of her wearing my cap and gown when I was home for Katie's wedding!!

We're all so proud of you, Mom! :)

My Silly LIttle Life in Provo!

My goodness!! I can't believe it's been soo long since I've posted on here! I've been asked by a lot of people recently what I've been up to since graduation, so I figured this would be a quick and easy way to kind of catch up!

After mom and I got back from New York City, it was time to really figure out what the heck I'm doing with my life! I moved to the Provo/Orem area and started on the oh-so frustrating job hunt, but it came to an end in July when I was hired to work for Pebbles Inc., a cute little scrapbook company located right across the street from the University Mall in Orem. I do a little bit of everything...design scrapbook supplies and products, signage, posters, emails, postcards and mailers, maintain the company blog, designing a new web site and anything else that needs to get spiced up a little! It's been a great place to start...fun people, fun atmosphere, fun work!

Family happenings: I was home a couple weeks ago for my sister's wedding and it was so fun to be all together with family! It was one busy and crazy week, but it's been fun seeing Katie and Joe together as a married couple! Of course my camera died when we were at the temple, so pictures are on the way...

Current living situation: I'm living in a cute little two bedroom condo in Orem with a friend from school who also works at a scrapbook company! We love our apartment, but as far as the location goes...umm, we need to work on that! When we first moved in, we were a little unsure about the whole situation, but it's slowly getting better here! Pictures will be posted when once we get a few little things to make it a little more home-y!

I plan on keeping this little blog going...it seems to be the best way to keep in touch with lots of people all at once! Life is really good right now...I'm finally starting to feel like things are beginning to fall into place! Life is good!! :)

I still plan on posting little patterns and what-nots that I've designed on this blog, but I think for the most part, this will become more of a personal blog...hopefully I'll have a real website soon with design work on it...atleast that's the plan!

Keep in touch!
Lindsay
