It's kind of a mix between a grunt/growl/smile/laugh/let-me-go kind of a face. I. Love. It. And I love how big her eyes are!

Sneak Peek

Work has been busy these last couple weeks as we've been getting ready for a product release! The two new collections coming out are kinda baby themed...lil' buddy and lil' miss. Josh did an awesome job on the lil' boy one (it's way cute!) and I did the little girl collection. It's always a good feeling to be done with a collection. It looks like it'll be out at the end of June/beginning of July...be looking for it!

Oh--American Idol finale = party tonight!!!

Good Times...

This weekend was full of ups and downs and everything between. Saturday night was definitely a high! We were at the ballet in Salt Lake...a fairly 'modern' ballet performance. One part of the program featured the men in the company. From the program:

"Those who have never seen a male dancer often have low expectations. Many expect the male dancer to be weak, feminine or just plain bad. They are the opposite. The men of Ballet West are strong, masculine, talented dancers that I wanted to show off to the public. They are strong but not stiff. They are fluid but never weak. The expectations for a male dancer can be dull and gray. With this piece I hope to create something that rises above that grey expectations."

I'm not sure how masculine the dancers were, but a funny thing did happen while they were dancing. In the middle of the dance, one of the dancers' pants ripped right up the backside...and there was no hiding it!! I'm not sure what the dancers had on under their pants, but it couldn't have been much. Poor guy. We laughed the whole way home! :)

BYU Intramurals

We decided to go watch our ward intramural kickball game tonight and I'm so glad we went! It was so funny watching people play kickball with such passion...I kind of felt like I was back in elementary school! The rules were kind of...weird to say the least. It took the whole game to figure out how to play kickball BYU style. Some rules from BYU Intramural Kickball:

• Outs don't really count; outs just kick you off the base. 3 outs ≠ end of an inning. Once you've scored 8 points, the inning is over.
• If you had runners on any of the bases at the end of an inning, they returned to that base when your team was up to kick again.
• If you kick a home run, you don't really get a home run. You only get to go to second base.
• Girls get two pitches, boys get one.
• It takes 5 refs to officiate.

I think we'll be going to more games in the future, followed by Frozen Yogurt. So, so good! Cheap entertainment, right?

I VOTED!!!

So...originally I *REALLY* wanted Danny and Adam to be in the final two. I've changed my mind. I really, really, really want Kris and Adam to be in the finals!! My FAVE of the night--BY FAR--was Kris' second performance. Amazing. This is the first time I've voted all season! I can't wait for tomorrow!!

Out for a Ride

Yesterday was such a beautiful day and I couldn't pass up getting my bike out and going for a ride! I rode over to Katie's place along the Provo River Trail with my camera in hand to document the ride...
I love riding along the Provo river. Recap of the ride:
• There was a weird guy catching snakes along the river for fun and letting kids pet them. Weird.
• Two guys 'river rafting' down the river
• Almost hit 2 pedestrians (but it wasn't my fault!)
• Thinking about September 11th as I pass by the memorial
• Thought about joining the kids at the skate/bike park--or not.
• Got weirded out by the crazies at the KOA

Celebrating Cinco Ocho de Mayo

Didn't do much to celebrate the fifth of May, so we're celebrating tomorrow night -- aka, Ocho de Mayo! On the 5th, Claire and I spent the evening watching Joe's softball game...it was actually a pretty intense game and Claire loved playing with, singing to, rolling around in and eating the grass. All the little boys that were there wanted to come play with her...she's already a total flirt and I love it!

Answering Questions

Such a fun weekend with Channy and Erin in town!! Chandice and I were able to go to our friend Amy's wedding on Saturday...it was such a beautiful wedding at the Provo temple. The only thing that could've made the day better was if it wasn't raining and snowing! Oh well, Amy made the best of the situation and everything turned out so beautiful. More pics from this weekend later...still trasferring photos!

• First thing you wash in the shower? Shampoo my hair.

• What color is your favorite hoodie? Brown. It's probably going on about 5 years...it's been so good to me, but I'm afraid it's about time for it to retire.

• Do you plan outfits? Depends...sometimes I'll think about a church outfit, but not so much for work!

• How are you feeling RIGHT now? Happy and so ready for bed.

• What's the closest thing to you that's red? My phone.

• Did you meet anybody new today? I did...two people, actually! Adam and Mitchell (?) I think...

• What are you craving right now? Amanda (my roommate) made brownies tonight and I can still smell them...brownies are my weakness!

• Have you ever counted to 1,000? Yes, actually. I remember baby sitting for someone (back in the day) and the daughter had to count to 1,000, so I did with her.

• Do you bite into your ice cream or just lick it? Usually bite into it. I wish I didn't.

• Do you like your hair? Most of the time, yes. I like going between straight and curly.

• Would you go out to eat with George W. Bush? Umm, yes. I'd be really nervous, but I would do it.

• What are you listening to right now? iTunes: Only You, by YAZ. Currently on repeat.

• Would you go sky diving? I'd go sky diving before bungee jumping.

• Do you like cottage cheese? When it's with pineapple or fresh strawberries, yes.

• Do you rent movies often? Sometimes...Monday nights at Albertson's, you can rent Redbox movies for free! I love Redbox!

• Have you made a prank phone call? Oh, yes. Pre-caller ID days were the best.

• Brown or white eggs? I don't think I've ever bought brown eggs for myself before, so white.

• Do you have a cell-phone? Yes

• Do you use chap stick? Burt's Bees is the best! I love when you lips kinda tingle a little bit when you use it

• Can you use chop sticks? I always try using them when they're available, but I can't quite figure them out, so I usually give up and just use a fork.

• Who are you going to be with tonight? Earlier we had an American Idol Results Roommates Party...Roommates + Adam and Mitchell + Matt = fun times.

• Ever have cream puffs? Yes and I l.o.v.e. them...especially with chocolate!

• Last time you cried? I think the last time i cried was the other night when we watched Marley and Me.

• Favorite time of the year? End of spring/beginning of summer and end of summer/beginning of fall

• Do you have any tattoos? Nope...but I've had a henna tattoo. Funny story behind that one.

• Have you ever walked into a wall? I don't know that I've walked into a wall, but I've walked into glass sliding doors. Not fun!

• Is your hair curly? Yes...

• What was the last CD you bought? Not off iTunes: Coldplay, Viva la Vida

• Do you like your life right now? Life is good...I think I'm about 95% satisfied right now.

• Do you sleep with the TV on? I love falling asleep to it...I find that this happens quite often and I end up turning it off at about 2 in the morning.

• Do you have good vision? I do now...I used to wear glasses, switched to contacts, and now my eyes are perfect!

• What are you wearing? I'm ready for bed: Wicked shirt and black shorts...so comfy!

• What is your favorite animal? Dogs...and I kind of wish that I had one right now!

• Can you hula hoop? I haven't hula hooped in for.ev.er, but I think I can still do it. It's like riding a bike, right?

• What was the most recent thing you bought? A new flat iron, but I don't like it...I think I need to return it and try a different one!

*Slightly* excited for the weekend! Two of my very best friends will be in town and that only makes for some good times! I'm keeping my fingers crossed for good weather!
