My Silly LIttle Life in Provo!

My goodness!! I can't believe it's been soo long since I've posted on here! I've been asked by a lot of people recently what I've been up to since graduation, so I figured this would be a quick and easy way to kind of catch up!

After mom and I got back from New York City, it was time to really figure out what the heck I'm doing with my life! I moved to the Provo/Orem area and started on the oh-so frustrating job hunt, but it came to an end in July when I was hired to work for Pebbles Inc., a cute little scrapbook company located right across the street from the University Mall in Orem. I do a little bit of everything...design scrapbook supplies and products, signage, posters, emails, postcards and mailers, maintain the company blog, designing a new web site and anything else that needs to get spiced up a little! It's been a great place to start...fun people, fun atmosphere, fun work!

Family happenings: I was home a couple weeks ago for my sister's wedding and it was so fun to be all together with family! It was one busy and crazy week, but it's been fun seeing Katie and Joe together as a married couple! Of course my camera died when we were at the temple, so pictures are on the way...

Current living situation: I'm living in a cute little two bedroom condo in Orem with a friend from school who also works at a scrapbook company! We love our apartment, but as far as the location goes...umm, we need to work on that! When we first moved in, we were a little unsure about the whole situation, but it's slowly getting better here! Pictures will be posted when once we get a few little things to make it a little more home-y!

I plan on keeping this little blog going...it seems to be the best way to keep in touch with lots of people all at once! Life is really good right now...I'm finally starting to feel like things are beginning to fall into place! Life is good!! :)

I still plan on posting little patterns and what-nots that I've designed on this blog, but I think for the most part, this will become more of a personal blog...hopefully I'll have a real website soon with design work on it...atleast that's the plan!

Keep in touch!
Lindsay

Okay, crock pot mac and cheese...I am sure you can find this on the food network website because it is inspired by Paula Deen, although there isn't nearly as much butter in mine as she probably puts in hers. Cook and drain 1 box macaroni noodles. Mix together 1/2 cup butter and 2-3 cups cheddar cheese in a saucepan on med heat until they melt and get gooey. Then add 1 can cheddar cheese soup, 1 can milk, and mix with the pasta. Put in crock pot, and then add 2-3 cups more shredded cheese of whatever flavors you like (I'm a monterey jack and mozzarella kind of gal...). Mix and then grate fresh parmesean on the top. Cook on low 3 hours. I think I'll just start a recipe link on my blog...Love ya and good luck! As always, call with questions. Payson says hi.
Love, Heather
